We are now on Facebook!  Go check out our new page, become a fan, and take a look at an expanded picture gallery from the August 2009 and January 2010 meetings.  We will be communicating events and other information on both Facebook as well as the web site so use whatever is easiest for you.

By the way, Todd and Terry will be presenting at Pulse.  An updated version of the presentation given at the August meeting about how URS uses Maximo at Tooele Chemical Weapons Disposal Facility will be given.  Presentation will be at 5 pm on Monday afternoon.

Winter Meeting 2010!
What a great meeting!  The turnout for the winter version of the Mountain West Maximo User Group was much higher than expected with nearly fifty attendees.  Our one day meeting held Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City was a great success.  The members from the "U of U" who hosted the meeting outdid themselves with a beautiful conference room and informative tour of the University of Utah Hospital.  Check out the pictures on the Winter 2010 page of the site.

Presentations from Metro Water District of Salt Lake and Sandy cities and URS highlighted the user presentations.  Rob MacArthur of Genesis Solutions gave an outstanding presentation on equipment reliability and how to implement maintenance program improvements.

Attendees were from all areas of the United States and Canada.  In summary, Utah, Idaho, California, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Georgia, Texas, Colorado were all represented as well as our friends from Solufy who came in from eastern Canada.  We also had four representatives from IBM who took a few minutes to explain the refocus of IBM to get out to meet clients and solidfy relationships.  Thanks to Ray, Greg, Keith, and Chris.  We appreciate their support.

The late summer meeting in Park City is tentatively set for August 8, 9, and 10th so make a note on your schedule now. 

We will be updating the web site with an agenda and other details so keep an eye on the site.  If you are a new member we request that you fill out the registration form on the web site and email it to Terry.
